Brief Answer:
Follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear thanks for follow up,
As said earlier these are all life style problems so only role of medicine is to supress your symptoms and not to cure them.
So you can increase or decrease the doses of medicine as per the response of your body.
Follow a strict diet.
Eat oil less food.
No alcohol and smoking.
Eat boiled vegetables and fruits.
In case if eating bland is not possible then just continue antacid and enjoy life.
Thanks!

Thanks for your response. I had a Hpylori antibody blood test. Results are attached. One type of antibody is high. Please advise what this means and what I should do.

Brief Answer:
You have H.pylori active infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for follow up,
It's good infact that H.pylori is the cause of problem in your case.
A course of two antibiotics with one antacid would be given to eliminate H.pylori.
Once the bacteria is eliminated your symptoms would be gone.
As the report is from lal path lab I think you are in XXXXXXX
Take H.pylori kit from nearest medical hall/online and complete the course.
Once completed you would be fine sir.
Thank you!

Thank you for your response.
I am based in USA. I went to my GI doctor and he said I should get a breath test done for H Pylori. He said blood tests are not that good. My blood test shows H pylori IGA as high but there is no H Pylori IGG anti bodies. My doctor here thinks IGG better measure for H Pylori.
In your opinion, does my blood test results show clear H Pylori infection and is there a need to do breath test before starting antibiotic treatment. Thank you very much.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Yes a breath test can be done to take a second confirmation.
IGA is the first line of defence of body against bacteria.
So I don't agree with your gastro opinion however a breath test can be done for second confirmation before taking an antibiotic course.
Thank you!
