
Can I Start Vaccination For That As Well Now In A Week Time?

Question: Hello Dr I have a query regarding pneumonia vaccination..I am 42yr old male with CKD stage 3A, hypothyroidism, hypertension and depression..I took pcv 13 vaccination for pneumonia..As there is lots of confusion in pneumonia vaccination guidelines I want to know now when should I take ppsv 23? Should it be taken 1 yr after pcv 13 or 8 weeks later? kindly guide..I also want to get vaccinated against hepatitis b..So can I start vaccination for that as well now in a week time? I took pcv 13 about 7 days ago.. kindly revert asap..

For groups 19yrs to 64 yrs if you have ckd the protocol also says to have ppsv 23 , 8 weeks after pcv 13 and then at 5 yrs. That is why I asked you.Can you clarify on this please? Also is it possible for you to give me prescription for Hepatitis b vaccination? kindly revert asap please.
