I read your query and understand your concerns about drug drug interactions.

There is no problem for otherwise healthy person to have Hydroxizine after eight hours of Xanax use provided it is in therapeutic dose range. There are no worthy drug drug interactions between Xanax and hydroxine other than increased sedation.

However I will advice you not to drive after either use of Xanax or hydroxyzine as both the medications can cause excessive sedation resulting in impaired performance.
