Can I Take Lortab And Lunesta Together?

Question: I am having numbness and bad pain in my hand and wrist. I have left over lortab 10mg from a dental procedure. I am also prescribed amitriptyline and Lunesta to take at night for restless leg syndrome and sleep issues. the past few nights I couldn't sleep because I was in so much pain but it was afraid to take the Lortab on top of the Lunesta for sure. My question is am I able to take the two together? my Dr. it's really starting to make me judge his care. because he tried to tell me there is no magic pill to fix everything even though I know this because I work in the health field as well. I don't feel comfortable going to him with problems anymore that's why I am on here asking questions

Hello,
After going through your medical details I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that yes you can take both of the medicines together but you have to be little careful for symptoms like short of breath, dizziness, confusion and headaches as both of medicines decreases your blood pressure and if taken together it can causes serious hypertension.
It’s recommended for you to take the drugs as advised and Kindly consult a physician or your treating If you experience any othe above mentioned symptoms .
