Can I Take Medrol For An Internal Stye On The Lower Eyelid?
Brief Answer:
Steroids not evidence-based practice for stye.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Using Medrol (steroid) for a stye is not recommended in evidence-based practice. However, it is commonly prescribed by current gen doctors off label just to get quick results.
I still prefer Oral antibiotic along with compresses and Oral NSAIDs as when required for stye.
If it is recurrent stye steroids are better avoided.
