                                    Brief Answer:
Steroids not evidence-based practice for stye.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Using Medrol (steroid) for a stye is not recommended in evidence-based practice. However, it is commonly prescribed by current gen doctors off label just to get quick results.
I still prefer Oral antibiotic along with compresses and Oral NSAIDs as when required for stye.
If it is recurrent stye steroids are better avoided.

Thank you. The stye has broken and is oozing out. I have been cleaning it with warm water mix with baby shampoo.
