Can I Take Pueraria Mirifica When Diagnosed With Hashimoto's Disease?
Question: Hi I wanted to ask a question please. I have Hashimoto disease ( hypothyroid). I heard Pueraria Mirifica has several benefits. Can I take it ? Will it affect my Tsh levels?

Puerairia Mirifica is a plant supposed to improve hormonal balance but there is nothing scientifically approved.
The dose of levothyroxine you are taking is high and hardly can any plant replace it.
So, as far as there are only calims about this pant you can not stop taking levothyroxine but you may use both of them and check hormonal level after 2 months.
If it will be needed to reduce the dose of levothyroxine it means that the supplement is working.
