Brief Answer:
Sudafed and metoprolol
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Sudafed and metoprolol, when taken together, can increase your blood pressure. So if you decide to take the two medications together, frequent monitoring of blood pressure is required. That being said taking a few doses of Sudafed would not cause many issues.
Another option is using Otrivin for a short span of time (3-4 days) nasal drops instead of Sudafed. The nasal drops have a localized action on the nose to relieve congestion without many systemic effects.
