Can I Take Viagra When Diagnosed With Tachycardia?
Question: Dealing with tachycardia can I take viagra
Brief Answer:
may be better to hold off
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
If you are using any nitrates for heart disease eg GTN, isosorbide mononitrate or dinitrate , then it cannot be used.
Viagra cannot be used with any of these medications
An increase in heart rate is not a common side effect of viagra, it is found in 0.1%( 1 out of 1000) to 1% of persons (1 out of 100).
Though it is a very rare side effect, because you already have tachycardia, it may be best not to use it until the cause of the tachycardia has been found and treated.
If you are still unsure, you can speak to your doctor
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
