Can I Take A Spoon Of Benylin Anti Mucus Syrup For Cough 6 Weeks After A Heart Bypass Surgery?

6 weeks back I had heart bypass.
I am fine. And taking medicines like asprin , mecardis and anti chelostreal.
Since last 2 days i feel cough and white muscus i need to take out.
My lungs are fine as i can breath in full with out issue and no co gestion on chest.
Right now..doctor is off and walkin clinik XXXXXXX closed.
Can i take a spoon of Benylin anti Muscus syrup ??
