Brief Answer:
would need to be separated by a lot of hours

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The half life of hydrocodone is 4 hours, the half life of a drug is the time it takes for the amount of drug in the body to decrease by half.

It takes 3 to 5 half lives for medication to be mostly eliminated from the body. This means that it can take 12 to 20 hours for most of the hydrocodone to be eliminated.

Hydrocodone and ativan interact with possible serious consequences. They increase the toxicity of each other and can cause significant sedation and affect breathing.

To use ativan safely with hydrocodone, you would have to make sure that there is a 12 to 20 hour difference between the medications.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
