Question : Can I take birth control (Syeda) with a small dose of oral tranexamic acid (250-500mg/day) for a short period of time (2-3mos)? I've heard the two aren't recommended together, but curious what the risk is in this circumstance. I have melasma and I've tried everything under the sun as far as topical treatments are concerned, and if I go off of my birth control, I get cystic acne.
