Can I Take Digene I Am Having Stomach Pain ?
Question: I am having stomach pain then and there from Wednesday (November 13th). I took Digene syrup when I had pain and started eating light foods. Today (November 18) I am having continuous burps, farts and loose motion. I am a mother for 22 months old baby and I am still feeding her. She is also having loose motion and vomiting. Because of this she is not eating anything. She only wants to drink milk from me. This is making me even tired. My daughter vomited continuously for around 11 to 15 times from Tuesday Night to Wednesday Morning (November 12th mid night to 13th Morning). She puked even after drinking water(Her vomit was like yellow liquid probably bile juice). We took her to hospital on November 13th afternoon. They said it may be due to some infection or food poison. They put one injection(Emeset injection) to stop vomit and gave Emeset syrup (2mg) 5ml 3 times/day for 5 days and Lanzol tablet 1time/day for 3 days. As I was having stomach pain I used Emeset syrup 2 days (1 time/day). From that day my daughter was having loose motion. Today morning she puked again. So gave her Emeset syrup after puking. Then she went motion twice and it was loose. Her motion texture seems like spoiled milk and smells like rotten egg. Even when I fart or go motion I get the same smell. Can you please help both of us in this situation ?
Brief Answer:
Try probiotics
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Based on your description both of you seem to have altered gut flora .
I would suggest giving probiotic like Enterogermina once daily for child and twice daily for you .
You can try for a few days.
If not settling better to check with your local doctor and get both of you examined .
