Question: Eyes have been dilated for several days. Have been having migraines and high blood pressure. On Inderal, Benicar and Gapapentin. Can these meds be causing dilated pupils?

Hello,

I would like to tell you that some of the medicines cause dilated pupils but there can be some other causes for the same like an injury to the eye or brain, behavioral issues, depression, ADHD etc. which may require further evaluation for proper treatment.

Long term use of Inderal or Gabapentin can cause dilated eyes in some patients especially in females which may require either correction in the dose or alternative drugs.

It’s advisable for you to consult a Neurologist and an Ophthalmologist for proper physical and diagnostic evaluation to get proper treatment.
