default
Posted on Tue, 4 Aug 2015
Question: I'm 30 years old. I've diagonised with PCOS in the month of April 2015. I never had irregular periods befor March 2015. Doctor prescribed with Krimson 35. I'm taking it for last 2 months. Since then blood flow is very less during my period. But It was never like this before taking krimson 35.I always had normal blood flow lasting for 3-4 days during my period. Is it normal or should I need to consult a doctor ? As I know it is a contraceptive, so will there be any problem during my pregnancy ? Please provide detail information about the

Brief Answer:
No, problem in future.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
Krimson-35 is a oral contraceptive of choice in PCOD patient, who don't want to conceive.
It contains ethinyl estradiol and cyproterone acetate.
Ethinyl estradiol in very low doses and cyproterone acetate act as an antiandrogen and decrease the effect of high androgen levels in PCOD patient.
Your period maybe regularize in 2-3 months but if persist than consult a Gynecologist for the same.
No it will not affect your future pregnancy.
Hope it is useful, feel free to discuss more information.
Good luck.
Regards
