Can Lakme Youth Infinity Skin Firming Serum Be Used During Pregnancy?

Question: Hi,
I am planning for my first baby. Currently I am using 'Lakme Youth Infinity Skin Firming Serum'. Just wanted to confirm is it safe to use it while planning as well as during pregnancy? And nowhere on the cover they have mentioned about the side effects. But many ingredients are mentioned at the back of the cover.. so got confused... Using this since last 10 days morning and night times. Please guide.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
In my opinion as such this cream is not contraindicated during pregnancy but because of so many ingredients and safe use during pregnancy is not claimed its better to avoid it.
Actually during pregnancy skin become so sensitive and you can be allergic to any thing so better to use products which are recommended during pregnancy.

Do these creams effect the foetus also? or just the skin of the pregnant woman?

As my skin has improved a lot after using this product.

It may affect the foetus also.

Hello,
Skin cream get absorbed and cross the placenta sometimes and than affect the foetus also.
You can continue the product till you get conceived than discontinued during pregnancy and restart after delivery.
