Question: May I take Levoflaxicin 500 mg for a sinus infection?

levofloxacin is a potent antibiotic for sinus infections, although it's not the most common first option because the most potent antibiotics are usually reserved for the most serious situations. Drugs like amoxicillin-clavulanate are more appropriate. Despite the above, levofloxacin is indeed a very good antibiotic against sinus infection pathogens.

Thanks, Doc. I have taken a lot of antibiotics for sinus and urinary infections and have taken Levaquin before. So I think I will go ahead and take it.
