Can Lobet And Urobid Be Taken During Pregnancy?
Question: Hi Dr XXXXXXX
My LMP was 22nd XXXXXXX 2016.Can you please tell me how many weeks pregnant I am?
Also to control my Bp I am taking Lobet 100 mg thrice a day and now my Bp has cum down to 140/80 from 150/90.Is lobet 100 mg thrice a day safe to take during this time of pregnancy?Also I am taking only bed rest on left side.Is it correct?
Also my gynae had asked me to get urine test done and traces of protein and infection has been found So i have been given Urobid 100 mg and advised to drink plenty of water.Is the treatment right.Hope Urobid 100 mg is safe during pregnancy.Will this urine infection cause any problem for the bby?
When can i go for delivery so that child is considered full term?
How canI know the weight of the baby.Is Usg scan da only way?

If your LMP is 22nd XXXXXXX then you are 36 weeks 4 days pregnant.
To control the BP, tab. Lobet can be taken thrice daily also. Resting in left lateral position will help in better blood circulation to the baby.
A urine infection can cause early labor pains if it is not treated properly. Urobid is safe for use during last trimester of pregnancy. Please do not worry.
After 37 weeks the child is considered full term. To know the baby's weight, USG scan is the only way. It is best to go for regular antenatal checkup and go with your gynecologist's advice.
