Question : Can I take 15mg of Meloxicam and 1 endone to help my back pain, as I am having a lot of pain lying down and sitting. If not what can I take with the meloxicam for pain ?

Hi,

I do not suggest Endone along with Meloxicam for my patients. I suggest Meloxicam first if it is mild to moderate back pain along with bed rest for complete 24 hours. Hot bags over the painful area help sometimes it takes to numb the skin over the painful back with an ice cube. This relieves pain.

If all of the above fail then I suggest Endone (narcotic analgesic). It should be used to relieve moderate or severe pain.
