Can Meprate Help In Delaying Menstruation?

Question: Hello doctor,
I am going abroad for a week in March(11 to 19). I am expecting my periods on 14th march. So i would like to prepone or postpone my periods.
Please suggest the best way to prepone or postpone the periods without side effects.
Also suggest that i should prepone or postpone in February so that they periods are automatically not interfering with my schedule in March or should the medicine be taken in March only.
Thanks,
xxxxx

Brief Answer:
menses postponement.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
THE BEST WOULD BE TO POSTPONE YOUR MENSES. You can start taking progesterone only pills like TAB MEPRATE 10mg twice a day from day 22 of your cycle in march i.e by 6th march daily and continue it daily as long as you wish to delay your menses.
Once you stop the medications, then in next 5-7 days you should get your withdrawal bleed.
