methamphetamine is a strong stress hormone" it can cause vessels to tighten. this can cause kidney problems and gradual fluid accumulation. it can cause heart dysfunction either by action on the heart or by causing very high blood pressure. this causes a bit faster accumulation of fluid.

there can be anemia or low protein in the blood but this would not be a direct effect of amphetamine and would be problems in making bloood or problems with the liver making proteins.
