Brief Answer:

No need for medicines if you have no symptoms.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

If you are having symptoms like diarrhea, mucus or blood in the stool, or abdominal pain, then you can take metronidazole and yes give it to your wife too.

If you do not have symptoms, then I would not recommend taking medications because Trichomonas is not pathogenic and the body will self limit it.

Drink plenty of fluids and eat healthy so your immunity stays high.

If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
