Can Mitpin And Nira Be Taken Together During Pregnancy?

They should not be used.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
MITPIN 7.5mg is mirtazapine which is a category C drug and unsafe in pregnancy and hence should not be used at all.
NIRA5 or Nitrazepam passes the placental barrier. The medicine should not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy because it may be the cause of birth defects newborn. Application of nitrazepam in the second and third trimester of pregnancy is only possible in the presence of strict indications, or after the physician finds that the benefits of the medicine to the mother exceeds potential risks to the fetus. If nitrazepam applied during the last trimester of pregnancy can cause breathing difficulties, lowering blood pressure and body temperature (hypothermia and hypotonia), irregularities in heart action, and difficulty in suckling newborn. The medicine is administered during the last week of pregnancy can cause depression of the central nervous system of the newborn.
So it is not advisable to take it during pregnancy at all especially during the first trimester.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If MITPIN 7.5 mg is a requirement must for you then you can switch to SSRIs ( serotonin selective repute inhibitors).SSRIs are generally considered an option during pregnancy, including citalopram (Celexa), fluoxetine (Prozac) and sertraline (Zoloft). You may discuss the option with your neurophysician and get an opinion pertaining to the dosage apt for you. If you are planning pregnancy then you should start TAB FOLIC ACID 5mg daily from at least 3 months prior itself.
