No rash. It is genital herpes I had pain in my vaginal. Thought i had a yeast infection b/c my husband had a yeast infection b/c diabetes meds he is taking. At least thats what he was told. We assumed i had gotten a yeast infection from him.
Brief Answer:
Yeast infection causes itching & discharge, herpetic lesions are painful
Detailed Answer:
Yes yeast infection is common in diabetes and it can be sexually transmitted.
But yeast infection usually causes whitish curdy vaginal discharge and itching in females.
It is not associated with pain.
On the other hand herpes is characterised by painful tiny fluid filled blisters which rupture to cause painful erosions.
