Brief Answer:
Levera and oxetol are safe.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms, medicines and MRI brain-epilepsy protocol reports.
You are on oxetol (oxcarbazepine), which could control fits to some extent, but not completely. Therefore, in view of changes on MRI brain, which suggest a higher risk of fits in future too, it would be better to add levera (levetiracetam) to oxetol, so that we can achieve better control of fits. Levera is safe and there are no serious side effects. In a small number of patients, mood changes may occur.
Please get back if you have any follow up queries.
