Thanks doc. We are placed in XXXXXXX and it around 1 AM (mid night) here. Patient has not taken dinner because he was feeling discomfort due to acidity. Can we give pantodac tab 40mg now and will it helps him to get some relief as he is feeling discomfort.
Brief Answer:
Yes you can.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Yes, you can give the tablet now, and you don't have to give it in the morning.
How old is the patient and what are the other symptoms/problems?
He will have to give a gap of around half an hour after taking the tablet to eat. The better option would to take 10 ml of gelusil for immediate relief.
Self medication is not at all recommended, so please get him evaluated by a doctor to find the reason for the pain in the tummy, it need not always be acidity.
Hope this helps.
Regards
