Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your query I will like to tell you that in clinical experience we have never faced such scenario so it is not the culprit behind weight gain . Rather you should not take it for long periods otherwise when its not required .
Take care.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
Thank you for reverting back.
Since you give a history of scanty menses and have given your hormonal profile , there is a possibilty of suffering from PCOS which could lead to weight gain and remains the first possibilty in your age. Any kind of hormonal imbalance will lead to weight gain .
Please provide the history for which your hormonal profile was done and whether you have excess hair on your face and body , difficulty in having babies , central weight gain , history of diabetes in family . Only after complete history we can have some clue to the problem.
