Brief Answer:
Do not take paxil after drinking alcohol

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. There is paroxetine in paxil and it is an antidepressant from the group of medicine selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

2. Taking alcohol with paxil can cause increased tendency to have side effects involving the brain like dizziness, drowsiness, and impaired cognitive function.

3. Therefore it is suggested that you avoid alcohol when taking paxil. If you have missed the dose today then please skip it. Tomorrow you can take the regular dose.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
