Brief Answer:
ER contraceptives are for up to 3-5 days after sex

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Emergency contraceptive pills are for 3 to 5 days after unprotected sex depending on the brand. They are not indicated at the time of the menstrual period that doesn't come. I suggest that you do an early pregnancy test. If it is positive about the only thing you might consider is placing an IUD. The are medical prescriptions that would disrupt in early pregnancy but it is a different prescription than emergency contraceptive pills.

I hope everything turns out well for you.
