Can Preexposure Anti Rabies Vaccine Cause Life Threatening

Question: Respected sir, I wish to give Preexposure rabies vaccination to my 3 year 10 months old son as there are many street dogs in our locality. He has taken all the routine vaccination till now and he has not developed any adverse side effects except sometimes a little fever(The vaccine chart is enclosed). Is there still any chance of Anaphylaxis after rabies vaccination???? I am not giving preexposure rabies vaccine to him due to this fear. I will go for Preexposure Anti Rabies vaccine to him only when there is no chance of any life threatening condition due to this vaccine. Please be kind enough to guide me.

Honestly speaking, no need to give this vaccine in such small kid.

I can understand your concern.
Every vaccine has side effects.
All vaccine have risk of anaphylaxis, allergic reaction though very less but still have risk for anaphylaxis.
So no vaccine is free from this risk.
So honestly speaking, I will not recommend this vaccine for 3 year old kid without any exposure.

Sir, if a dog strikes my bike while I am driving the bike with my 4 year old son sitting on the bike, then should I vaccinate my son for Anti Rabies Vaccine as he has some wounds on his leg and the dogs face might have come in contact(not sure) with my son's wound???? can the rabies virus remain infectious in the saliva which might be there on dog's face due to self Licking of the dog???? or we should think about vaccination only when there is direct lick of the dog to any human wound???? I am confused.
