Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
QVAR ( steroid inhaler ) is used to prevent and control your symptoms like wheezing and shortness of breath. This medicine works directly on lung tissue and reduces swelling and irritation of airways inside your lungs
XOPENEX is a bronchodilator which relaxes muscles in your airways and improve your breathing.
Yes both these medicines are used for treatment of bronchitis.
Antibiotics are in general of no use in treating bronchitis because acute bronchitis is generally a virus infection which doesn't need antibiotics for cure.
Antibiotics are used in bronchitis very selectively where there is evidence of bacterial infection and is then given in a short course of 5-10 days.
I hope it helps, however You are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
