Can Ramipril Be Taken In Place Of Losartan?

Posted on Mon, 26 Dec 2016
Question: I'm on vacation and just run out of Losartan 100mg - can I take my husband's Ramipril 10mg instead. It would only be for one day. I'm also on Glipizide 5mg?

If so, should I take more than one as I think it weaker than what I'm on?

Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Yes you should take Ramipril 10 mg while you are on vacation. Ramipril 10 mg is equivalent to Losartan 100 mg.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

I also take Dil Tiazem CD 120mg. Is it still OK to take Ramipril. It's just for one day.
Thanks
