Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Regesterone is a progesterone hormonal drug. It is given to get periods. You can take it fr 5 days like your doctor prescribed. No need to take it longer than 5 days. You are most likely to get a period within or after 3 days of stopping this.
If you not getting again after 3 days then a Gynecologic examination and ultrsound should be carried out. Thyroid function test also should be done to rule out hypothyroidism in such case.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
