Can STD Be Contracted Through An Oriental Massage?

No risk of STD if person giving massage used hand sanitiser or gloves
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
Usually the person giving massage wears a glove or uses a hand sanitiser and applies lubrication jelly before giving you massage.
From your description there is almost nil chances of STD or HIV transmission as there was no oral or vaginal sex involved. However, it is important to know the exact sequence of events and the if there was a cut on the finger of the masseusse.
Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Please find test details below
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in with an update.
Following any kind of sexual activity with a stranger, getting tested for STDs includes testing for Gonorrhoea, Chlamydia, Nonspecific urethritis, Syphilis and HIV.
Basic testing for bacterial STDs can be tested for as soon as 2 to 3 weeks after the exposure or sooner if you have symptoms and it is recommended that it is retested again at least three to six months later to confirm results.
Chlamydia and gonorrhea is best tested after a month form date of probable unsafe sexual activity but since you had only finger insertion, there is no need to worry.
Herpes and HIV might be tested after 3 months and repeated again at the end of 6 months.
If you do not have any symptoms then getting tested for only HIV is recommended at the end of 3 and 6 months for peace of mind.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
Regards,
Dr.Vivek
