Can STD Be Contracted Through Protected Intercourse?

Unlikely for STD transmission
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
If you used a condom , it means that it was protected sex. There is a very low likelihood of contracting an STD in the presence of a barrier contraceptive such as condom. You need to relax as you can have unprotected sex. If you are still concerned then get an STD panel test requested from your doctor. In the period preceding to the test results you may have protected sex. If negative then you can repeat the test in three months time to be more sure of the results.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks

I am still scared and will never do this ever again. If something does happen, how long before I see something?
This should do it.
Thanks.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
STDs have variable incubation periods and can manifest in different timeline depending upon the infection. For example, chlamydia testing can be done within a week. Syphillis testing before 3 weeks is not very useful.
Since you are at very low risk, based on your description, I would advise you not to stress out looking for lesions and signs as it can be quiet stressful.
Let me know if you have any query
Thanks.
