Can STD Be Contracted Through Unprotected Oral Sex?

Question: Hi, three days ago I went to a massage parlor and towards the end the massage lady suddenly began to lick my penis and I think she even kissed it. The licking and kiss probably took no more than five to eight seconds before I asked her to stop.
My questions are:
1. Should I be concerned for risk of an STI infection of any type?
2. Am I okay to have sex with my wife?
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Low risk but still screening recommended

Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist and venereologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.
Unprotected oral sex is a risk factor for transmission of herpes virus although the chances of transmission are higher during a longer duration of oral sexual contact as compared to a short lasting oral sexual contact of just a few seconds. Nevertheless I would still suggest that you get yourself screened for herpes virus (HSV type 1 & 2)

Thank you Doctor. The massage therapist had no sores or blisters on her mouth and I immediately went to the restroom and washed my penis with soap and warm water. Do either of these two additional bits of information further reduce my chances of an infection?
Brief Answer:
Low risk
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Yes, it does reduce chances. Infectivity is higher in the presence of active sores/ ulcers and low otherwise.
The effect of washing genitals immediately after contact is not very clear though.
