Brief Answer:
Sactral can cause myalgias but look for other causes.
Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
I have gone through your description of pain .
In my opinion Sectral , with is a beta blocker, may cause myalgias ( muscle aches) and arthralgias (Joint pains) in about 2 % patients. The exact reason is not known.
I would suggest that you try to find out any other cause for pain like exertion , before thinking of sactral as a causative agent.
I would advise against stopping sactral , without medical advice. Please consult your physician before stopping medicine as this may be dangerous.
Thanks for the question. Please feel free to ask any other question.
