Can Solian Dosage Be Reduced Without Doctor's Advice?

I am now in the second week (and two days more) with Solian 50 mg instead of Solian 100mg. I can say that there is an improvement, say, my fixation is over in a 70% 80 % and in some moments completely. My pyschiatrist told me that at the end of the third week with Solian 50 mg (in six days) i can go back to Solian 100mg. I would like to know first if it's a good idea and i can then avoid to be back to the fixation (since it's not gone at all) and how long does it take to Solian 100 mg to work (after three weeks with Solian 50 mg). My psychiatrist says than from two to three weeks it's a good period for a withdrawal like the one that was done (from 100 mg to 50 mg of Solian),
Thanks beforehand, XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX I hope this message finds you well.
I am very glad to hear that the reduction in Solian from 100mg to 50mg has proven to be successful for you! This is wonderful news. A 70-80% reduction in symptoms regarding your fixation is a very good improvement. I think the next step is to try 100mg again to attempt to fully eradicate your fixation. I agree with your psychiatrist that this is a good next step. Remember -- if you experience worsening symptoms at 100mg, you can always reduce the dose to 50mg and try a different strategy at that point. It should take about 2 weeks to work at the higher dose of 100mg given that a strong amount of Solian is already in your system. I would very much like to hear how you are doing as you transition back to 100mg, so please keep me informed!
I hope this answers your question. Feel free to ask any follow-ups, or if you are satisfied, rate and close this thread.
