Question: I have been taking tamoxifen oral for 5 years. Had to miss my oncologist appt this month and unable to get in until after the holidays. I ran out of prescription and stopped taking the medication last week as the doctor had said it was time to end the med after 5 years.
Can tamoxifen be stopped without side effects?
