Can Tresiba Cause Weight Gain?
Question: I have been on Tresiba insulin(200 units/ml) for almost a year. I take it once in the evening before bed (82 units). I also take Humalog insulin during the day at each meal (20 to 26 units depending on sugar readings). My question is: In the time that I've started Tresiba, I've gained approximately 25 pounds without changing my regular eating habits. Can Tresiba cause this gain? My doctor says that all insulins could cause weight gain.
