Can Tylenol Be Taken For Chest Pain?

I am so to get an echo tomorrow but my question is I received an ECG that said non spacific at abnormality which is normal for me I have been told but it also said tacardia (I have white coat syndrome) and said possible left atrial enlargement )
My question is how reliable is this test
Can I take tylnol for pain
What can be causing this
I am not over weight or do not have high blood pressure I don't drink alcohol or do drugs
I do smoke a cigarette but not very much
Am not short of breath but do have tacardia at times I think do to my anxiety
Just had a full blood work done all came back normal
I just feel like my life is on hold as I am afraid to work out or smoke my cigarette (which I am planning on quitting for good once I receive these results ) am I in imminent danger of stroke or heart attack
There is no reason to worry about any possible heart attack or stroke.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome back on HCM!
As I have explained you before, ECG is not the adequate test for left atrial dimensions estimation.
That is why you should relax and wait until the echo results comes.
You shouldn't be afraid of any possible heart attack or stroke, as your ECG and blood work do not raise any suspicions in this regard.
So, you don't have specific ischemic changes on your ECG, as well as no atrial fibrillation to think about any risk of stroke.
Regarding the the pains, you can use tylenol, as well as other painkillers (ibuprofen, naproxene, etc.).
To fully conclude about a non cardiac cause of your chest pain, after performing a cardiac ultrasound, you could undergo an exercise cardiac stress test.
Nevertheless, I still insist that your pains are not cardiac related.
So just relax! Nothing dangerous is going to happen.
Please, upload your cardiac ultrasound as soon as you perform it.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes!

Your blood lab tests are perfectly normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
I carefully reviewed your blood lab test reports, and everything seems to be within the normal ranges (blood electrolytes, fasting glucose, renal function tests).
Regarding Ativan, I would explain that this is a benzodiazepine drug, used to treat anxiety and insomnia. But I would recommend taking alprazolam instead, because it doesn't have a sedating effect (like Ativan), thus helps in panic attacks but doesn't interfere with your daily mental and physical function.
Ativan can lead to sleepiness during the day or decreased attention.
You can take 0.25 to 0.5mg of alprazolam three times daily during days with anxiety or just once during panic attacks.
Hope to have been of help!
