default
Posted on Fri, 28 Apr 2023
Question: Respected Doctor,

I went through Liver Function test. There many parameters were high.
Bilrubin, Total : 1.29,
Bilrubin Direct : 0.21,

ASPARTATE AMINOTRANSFERASE (AST/SGOT) : 46 ,
ALANINE AMINOTRANSFERASE (ALT/SGPT): 99,
LACTATE DEHYDROGENASE: 192

My question is :
I have taken 2 tablets ( 1 * 2) of Udiliv 300 yesterday. Test sample given at 2 PM today. I got the report at 7:45 PM.
How much Udiliv 300 tablets can affect this result ? What could be the result if I have not taken the tablets?

Thank you.

Brief Answer:

Minimal effect

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Please see that just 2 doses and 1.5 days of the drug will cause a very minimal effect on liver function tests.

Even this drug improves liver function tests after at least one week.

As per your second query, any liver disease can give symptoms of fever in patients. The person may have a low energy level in liver diseases. They may or may not have raised body temperature.

I have seen your reports and I can say that liver tests are not deranged much.

If you have any history of alcohol consumption or fond of sweets just avoid that.

You should take tab Liv 52 one tablet two times a day. It will give better results than Udiliv.

In addition, go for lab tests as HB, TLC, DLC, CRP, RBS, WIDAL test, Malarial AG and peripheral blood smear.. and if there is pain right upper quadrant then ultrasound abdomen should also be done.

If all these tests are already done and are normal then take tab Liv 52 or Udiliv for 15 days and then get the repeat test. But I will suggest Liv 52 as a better drug.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
