Can Zinc Acetate Be Taken In Place Of Zinc Glutamate?
Question: hello doc,
i have a very simple question in mind.
my sexologist asked me to take ZINC GLUTAMATE tabs for my health problem.
Now i ordered best zinc glutamate tabs from XXXXXXX
Tat will take 2 weeks to arrive.
Good zinc glutamate tabs are not available here in my area.
I have zinc ACETATE syrup at home.
my question is simple.....................
Can zinc acetate REPLACE zinc glutamate for two weeks intake??
My doctor is not in town............so thought to contact you!!!!!!!!!

As both are equally effective.
You should take nuts, meat, and legumes as well.
As a word of caution, avoid taking these zinc supplements along with ranitidine and other anti-acidity drugs as omeprazole etc.
As your sexologist must have told you that keep the daily dose of zinc below 40 mg.
Do not cross this limit otherwise, toxicity will develop.
