Brief Answer:
Yes, it is safe to take Zoloft with Melatonin.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

First, to answer your specific question, yes, it is safe to take Melatonin and Zoloft.

But Melatonin is not a particularly good anti anxiety medicine. Please talk with your doctor about a short term anti anxiety medicine such as Lorazepam or Alprazolam in addition to the Zoloft. You may need less of it once the Zoloft starts working for you.

If you find that the anxiety has become worse since starting the Zoloft, consider taking half the dose for the first 10 days - 2 weeks and then go up to the full dose. This may delay when you start to get maximum benefit from the Zoloft, but may make it more tolerable for you.

You wrote "plus hiws". Did you mean to write hives? Did you start to get hives since starting the Zoloft? Because you may have a sensitivity the drug. If you are getting hives and it has correlated with the Zoloft, call the doctor on call for whomever prescribed it, stop taking the Zoloft, and take Benadryl or Zyrtec for the hives, and follow up with your doctor.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
