Can A Z-pack Be Taken For Sinus Infection While On Tikosyn?
Question: I am taking tikosyn, and want to take a Z-pack to get rid of sinus infection
interaction between azithromax and tikosyn.
it was Doxycycline, not Clindamyacin that I took first. Switched to cefdinir when that didn't work.
What will happen if I mix the two. Will I get sick, will it nullify the tikosyn? What will happen?

Brief Answer:
Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern
Dofetelide and clarithromycin both increase the QT interval leading to an increased risk of arrhythmias. Azithromycin in zpack would be a better option with regards to interaction with Dofetelide.
Antibiotics should always be taken after consultation with your GP.
