Can A Breast Feeding Mother Take Asthalin And Deriphyllin For Asthma When The Infant Is Recovering From Upper Respiratory Tract Infection?

Question: Dear Sir,
5 Days back my 6 Month son is diagnosed with Upper Respiratory Tract Infection. He is recovering but still he is coughing sometimes.
His mother is now having some asthmatic problem.
We want to check if it is safe to take a) Asthalin 4 and b) Deriphyllin 150 by mother. She is feeding child 4-5 times a day.
Sir, Earlier you confirmed that using Inheler is fine, but we want to check if we can these medicines during breastfeed?
Request you to please guide.
Best regards

Brief Answer:
Medicines safe for lactating mother
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Let me assure you that upper respiratory tract infections are common in children and you need not worry about it. The mentioned medicines are safe to be taken by the mother while breast feeding such a child. However, Asthalin and Deriphyllin can case the heart rate to rise but that itself is not a cause for concern.
