Can A Cancerous Lump Develop In Testicle Within A Week After An Ultrasound?
All that you feel is due to anxiety .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have recently carried out ultrasound scanning of scrotum which is reported to be normal .
However you feel presence of pipes in scrotum and worried them to be cancer .
There are following tubular structures in scrotum going from groin to testicles
1) Vas Difference tube that carries sperms from testicle .
2) Spermatic veins 3-4 (in no ) that carry impure blood from testis to heart
3) Testicular artery carrying pure blood from aorta to testicles
4). Nerves from testis and epididymis
5) Lymphatic vessels .
In view of you not having any symptoms and absence of any positive findings on scrotal scan yu should not be worried at all .
Please note that cancer of the Testis is always presents with a large mass in scrotum with severe pain in scrotum.
You need to consult qualified Psychiatrist for counselling to allay your anxiety.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

So just for my peace of mind regardless of what I think I feel there is no chance of something bad growing within a week?
Also, a large mass would still start of as small though right? But I guess that anything growing that I can't feel now in the testicle, would have still show up on the scan, right?
How often should a really check myself? A large mass would still start of as small though right?.
I know I do have a very tiny cyst on my epididymis, I think I felt (away from the testicle) that, but then couldn't find it again. So kept trying to find it and got confused with all the other structures on the back.
Thank you for your help.

I feel a bit sore down there now. Been feeling around too much. Can you do any harm by delicately examining? I guess its the same as any part of the body if you prod it too much...
You need not examine it repeatedly
