But yes endoscopy can cause Gall bladder infection specially if it is send as far as the duodenum. There is a duct called as bile duct which opens in duodenum and if that get infection this infection can reach the gall bladder through that duct.
It would then need detailed blood works cultures and antibiotics with follow up to cure the infection.

Decision of antibiotics depends upon a few things
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing, 1st best step is indeed inserting a tube inside the bile duct to get rid of the "bad bile" , antibiotics is a decision which is made by treating doctor this is made on many grounds, like Blood works, symptoms, clinician's experience and severity.
I would suggest you not to panic and keep a close look at how things procede of patient feels better then there is no need for further medication bht if the condition deteriorate or seem ti deteriorate then you always have an option to discuss with your doctor about further treatment options available , for the time being you can wait and watch.
Stay blessed.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad .
