Question : Can a colonoscopy do damage to the duodenal bulb
Brief Answer:
No, it can't.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The duodenal bulb is the portion of the duodenum closest to the stomach while colonoscopy is done through anus for large and small intestine view. It can't do any damage to duodenal bulb.
For duodenal bulb endoscopy is to be done.
So rest assured it can't do any damage. Hope I was helpful.
Thank you.
