Can A Growing Infection In My Left Arm Like A Hard Boil Be Related To Multiple Myeloma Diagnosed Close To A Decade Back?
Question: Thank you! I have an infection in my left arm pit. It is getting bigger. Like a boil and seems hard. This manifested in one day. My background. Multiple Myeloma going on 9 years. Ongoing infusions.

Also apply warm compress to relieve pain. Keep the area clean and dry. Since, you have been on treatment for multiple myeloma, there is a possibility if the infection worsening. So, it is also important to follow up with your primary provider/urgent care as soon as possible to get started on oral antibiotics for clearing up the infection faster .
You can also take Tylenol if pain is bothersome.
