Can A Hairline Fracture On The Hand Be Treated?

hairline fracture- a posibility
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history and the attached photographs in detail.
The affected part still seems to be bruised.
I am sure the movements must be painful. An underlying fracture should be ruled out by getting a Xray done.
It does not seem to be a major fracture though but as it is most important part of the hand,it cannot be neglected.
Once the Xray is done, depending upon the report, further line of management can be decided.
Till then, apply ice and take anti inflammatory tablets.
Keep the hand elevated with a compression bandage .
Do not apply heat.
Do upload the Xray films here as soon as you get it done.
I hope the answer was useful.
Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.
Thank you.
Kind regards.
